Those are amazing! I am going to have to go through them one by one and comment on some later when I have more time.
So, how are you protecting your camera from the water?Me, who thinks a good snapshot stops a moment from running away. (quoted: Eudora Welty)

I have an Olympus PT-019 underwater housing for my Olympus C-5000. A housing is a waterproof case that has exterior buttons/knobs that line up with all the buttons/dials on your camera so you can change all settings while underwater. Each case has to be made specially for each camera. Here are some pictures of the housing I have.

Thanks for sharing about the housing.
We are planning our very first big vacation this summer and I've been looking around at the options as I want to take some underwater photos in Hawaii and I want to be able to have a waterproof camera around my neck at all times so I don't risk damaging my expensive camera traveling with it.
I'm thinking about buying an inexpensive ($200 or under) camera/video recorder for our trip and need some suggestions.
I didn't know there was housing you could put over cameras.Me, who thinks a good snapshot stops a moment from running away. (quoted: Eudora Welty)

One of the scuba forums that I read has a classified section to sell or buy used photo equipment. You might look here:

I have bought two different camera/housing combos off of that forum for $150-$200.

I see they have one for a canon D even! Wow!
I am seeing that the Canon Powershot D10 and the FugiFilm FinePix XP11 are waterproof cameras that do video too. I'm considering one of them, but there's a big difference in price. I've been comparing uploads to Youtube by people who used both and am very confused now on what to do.Me, who thinks a good snapshot stops a moment from running away. (quoted: Eudora Welty)
